Fairmont Dubai appoints Alain Ducasse alumni, Renald Epie as executive chef
Renald Epie, a French national with over 20 years of experience in the kitchen, has been appointed as the new executive chef of Fairmont Dubai.
Epie previously worked under multi-award-winning Alain Ducasse at three of his restaurants – Le Louis XV in Monte Carlo, The Spoon Food & Wine in Paris, and La Bastide de Moustier in the south of France – and has been in Dubai since 2013.
In his time in the Emirate, Epie was executive sous chef at Al Mahara in the Burj Al Arab, before joining the pre-opening team at Jumeirah Al Naseem.
He joins Fairmont Dubai following a spell at Atlantis, The Palm and will oversee the hotel’s 10 F&B outlets.
